To commemorate Obama's historic win, which has people crying, laughing, dancing, hoping (as well as remaining cynically impassive), here is a list of new words I have come across while following America's elections:
Gobama!: v. (expression, colloquial) Generally expressing high hopes and optimism for a landslide victory
Obamania: n. (technical, psychology) a monomania related with a certain campaigner, now America's 44th President. Generally characterised by gobamatic behaviour.
Obamafied: adj. to be in awe of a certain campaigner, now America's 44th President. People who are Obamafied are at risk of obamania.
